Stuart, I read your book in one evening and spent the rest of the night having dreams about my family. I grew up in a fundamentalist christian home and there is no way to describe that experience so that someone fully understands unless they have lived it also. You did a great job. It will be on my list of book recommendations to others that I meet. My partner and I have been together for five years and we have a wonderful support system of friends. When they meet someone with a religious background they send them my way. My parents and I have not seen each other or spoken in over 2 and half years. I get superficial notes and chit chat every so often by mail but I have chosen not to respond until two weeks ago. I sent a letter proposing a written dialogue that gives them the option to have a written discussion or to stop all contact. I have a real family now and I am ready to have closure on my relationship with my biological family if they choose not to respond. I have the support system availible it they choose to engage in a discussion-- no response yet. Good luck with the book tour-- I missed your stop in Boston by one day
